Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia has been Appointed as Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.
Shimla: The Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, has appointed Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, currently serving as a Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
A notification issued by the Ministry today confirmed the appointment of Justice Sandhawalia to the top judicial post in Himachal Pradesh
Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan has been serving as the Acting Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court since the retirement of the previous Chief Justice last month.
