SHIMLA: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has unveiled a series of relief measures for flood-affected families in the state.

 The government will offer financial aid for relocation, with Rs. 5,000 for rural and Rs. 10,000 for urban areas. Additionally, they will provide free Gas Connection kits, including an LPG Cylinder, regulator, hot plate, and more, ensuring access to cooking facilities without financial burden, CM said.

Furthermore, the state government will distribute free ration packages consisting of wheat atta, rice, pulses, oils, salt, and sugar until March 31, 2024.

These efforts aim to support affected families during these challenging times and underscore the government's commitment to providing timely assistance.
