Himachal Pradesh state election commission(SEC) has directed the deputy commissioner Shimla to prepare the draft proposal of delimitation of wards of the Shimla municipal corporation by February 10.
According to the spokesperson of the commission, the deputy commissioner has asked to invite objections raised by residents of Shimla on delimitation of the wards. The objections can be filed with the office of DC till February 17, 2022 and these will be settled on or before 24th February, 2022.
In case any person is not satisfied with the decision of DC then the person can appeal to Divisional commissioner. The appeal can be filed either by 3rd March, 2022 or earlier within seven days of the decisions of DC, said the release. DC would notify the wards on March 9, 2022 and complete the process of reservation of wards by March 11, 2022.
