BARAGARH(MANALI): 'Your Soulful Escape Amidst Pines- Baragarh Resort and Spa, Manali here on January 19, 2023 has added a new Taj to its cap: The resort has joined an elite hospitality Brand club- IHCL SELEQTIONS brand of The Taj group, a hospitality major in India with Global presence.
With the snowy mountains of the Valley of Gods lurking in the horizons, the formal handover ceremony was organized and performed by The Taj group here in the plush premises of Baragarh Resort and Spa.
The ceremony was led by the magnate of the Baragarh Resort and Spa Mr Anil Khullar, the father of Nakul Khullar, his son Gunal Khullar and other family members and friends in the presence of Mr Taljinder Singh, Senior Vice-President and Brand Custodian of The Indian Hotels Company Limited(IHCL), Mumbai that runs the The Taj Group.
Present in the ceremony were Mr Manish Kumar, Vice- President, IHCL and Neelabh Pandey, hotel manager and other dignitaries, who celebrated the grand takeover of the Baragarh Resort and Spa by The Taj Group of IHCL.
The Taj Group also runs its resort in the uphills of Shimla, erstwhile summer capital of former The Raj.
With Baragarh Resort and Spa joining SELEQTIONS brand of the Taj, the high-end tourism and local culture in Kullu and Manali in Himachal Pradesh are set to get a major new push.
This is so because The Taj has a global presence in the top-end tourism markets.
With this, the elite tourists will visit Manali thereby promoting local culture and handlooms and handicrafts across the world

Baragarh Resort and Spa has become the first resort with The Taj Group: IHCL SELEQTIONS brand located in Kullu Manali.
The resort is located in Kullu and Manali in the central region of Himachal Pradesh that leads to famous Silk Route in the High mountains of the Lahaul-Spiti to Leh and Ladakh.
