SHIMLA: Director General of Police and officers of Himachal Pradesh Police hosted V. S. Pathania, Director General (DG), Indian Coast Guard (ICG), Neela Pathania and other ICG Officers today at Police Headquarters.
DG and ICG interacted with the Himachal Pradesh Police officers on “Challenges of India’s Coast” and elucidated the role played by ICG especially in safeguarding our coasts ensuring internal security.
The Director General of Indian Coast Guard and Himachal Pradesh Police also exchanged organisational mementos.
It is indeed a matter of pride for State of Himachal Pradesh that a son of the soil is heading the elite Indian Coast Guard as its chief and ensuring the security of country’s coastline.
