SHIMLA: In a Major breakthrough, HP police special investigation team has one accused of the Tapovan Vidhan Sabha Khalistan flags episode,    Harvir Singh, son of Rajinder Singh from Punjab today morning.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said here on Wednesday that the State Police has made a major breakthrough in the Dharamshala Vidhan Sabha episode by apprehending one Hervir Singh.

He said that the accused has confessed to have put the Khalistani Flag and graffiti on the outer wall of HP Vidhan Sabha complex at Tapovan near  Dharamshala.

Chief Minister said that the search for the second accused Vaneet Singh jointly by H.P. Police and Punjab Police was on and he would also be arrested soon.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the State police, in this process, has followed “rule of law” and “due process” and got the “search and arrest warrant' from the Competent Court in Dharamshal.
