For the first time ever, ten women officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force will sail around the globe — together, as one Tri-Service team.
They will board the Indian Army Sailing Vessel (IASV) Triveni on September 11, 2025, and set off on a 26,000 nautical mile voyage.

The Three Great Capes — Cape of Good Hope in Africa, Cape Leeuwin in Australia, and Cape Horn in South America — stand ahead.
These capes are legends in sailing folklore, feared for monster waves and wild winds.
The official route begins from Goa
From there the vessel will sail across the Indian Ocean to Fremantle in Australia. Then to Lyttelton in New Zealand.
