 Shimla:  A review meeting took place to discuss the certification of 1,20,000 farmers engaged in natural farming.

 Out of the 1,82,000 farmers practicing natural farming in the state, 1,20,000 have received certification under the Prakriti Kheti Khushhal Kisan Yojana.

The State Project Director, Hemis Negi, highlighted the innovative certification system, allowing farmers to receive certificates online, saving time and resources.

The meeting also discussed the progress of natural farming on over 30,000 hectares across all districts and strategies for upcoming initiatives.

The focus was on efficient marketing of natural farming products.

The meeting included officials from various agricultural departments and project directors from all districts.
