SHIMLA: Sushil Sharma has taken over as Chairman & Managing Director, as well as Director of Personnel.
That's on top of his previous gig as Director of Projects. The move comes after a tough selection process by the Public Enterprises Selection Board.
Sharma's no newbie to the game. Since 2020, he's been a driving force behind some major projects like the Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station and the Rampur Hydro Power Station.
Basically, he's the reason these projects got off the ground and running smoothly.
With over 30 years of experience under his belt, Sharma's a seasoned professional.
He started out back in 1990 in HP State Technical Education Service and then made his way to SJVN in 1994 as an Assistant Engineer. Since then, he's climbed the ladder, taking on bigger roles and making big moves.
So what's next for SJVN under Sharma's leadership?
Well, if his track record is anything to go by, it's going to be all about growth and development.
