18 HP Police Personnel Crack Finance & Accounts Exam, Script History
SHIMLA, Sept 15: Pride moment for Himachal Pradesh Police — 18 of its personnel have cracked the prestigious Himachal Pradesh Finance & Accounts Service (HPF&AS) exam, bagging 18 of the 29 posts.
The selected men and women constables will now join as Section Officers and undergo training at HIPA, Fairlawns, Shimla.
DGP Ashok Tewari, IPS, called it a milestone in the force’s capacity-building drive.
“Their success proves that with grit and perseverance, our personnel can shine not just in policing but also in administrative domains,” he said.
Among those selected are LHC Gaytri Devi, HC Ritish Kumar, Ct. Anil Kumar, Ct. Amanpreet Singh, L/Ct. Damini, L/Ct. Sheetal Guleria, and L/Ct. Minakshi Rana, besides 11 others.
The rare feat has brought laurels to the police department and is expected to inspire more personnel across the state to aim higher.
