SHIMLA: After Dicky Dolma, Kritika Sharma from Himachal's Sirmaur district has made the state proud by conquering Mount Everest at the young age of 17.
Part of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) expedition team, Kritika has now become the youngest Everester from the state, bringing laurels not just to Himachal but to the entire nation.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu extended heartfelt felicitations to Kritika for her remarkable achievement.
"She has shown exemplary courage and strong willpower to scale the world’s highest peak. Her feat is a beacon of inspiration for all youngsters passionate about adventure sports," he said.
Praising her determination, the Chief Minister said, “Kritika has proved that where there is a will, there is a way. Nothing is invincible when one is committed to overcoming the odds.”
He wished Kritika Sharma and her entire team continued success in all future endeavours.
