Two  Brave  Sons Bring Laurels to Himachal 

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh has a proud moment to cherish as two of its brave sons—Major Anshul Baltu and Captain Joginder Singh—have been honoured with the prestigious Shaurya Chakra for their exceptional courage and gallantry in national service.

 

Major Anshul Baltu hails from Ghunsa village in the Shurachali region of Jubbal subdivision, while Captain Joginder Singh is a resident of Darat Bagla in Joginder Nagar. Their recognition for acts of valour has brought immense pride not only to their families and native regions but to the entire state and the nation.

 

The award celebrates their unmatched bravery, unwavering commitment and fearless service to the country. Their deeds stand as a shining example of selfless courage and dedication, reflecting the indomitable spirit of Himachal’s youth.
