Shimla: Miss Earth India 2022, Vanshika Parmar, hailing from Dhaneta in Nadaun Sub Division of Hamirpur, met with Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today.
Crowned with the prestigious title at the youthful age of 19 in November 2022, at an event held in The Philippines, Vanshika Parmar inspired young women across the state.
Chief Minister Sukhu commended Vanshika's achievements, citing her as a shining example of Himachali excellence on the global stage.
He urged her to continue championing the cause of women's empowerment and to collaborate with the state government on initiatives aimed at the welfare of single girl children.
She has also served as the tourism ambassador for Ghana throughout 2023 and actively promoted eco-tourism in the Philippines.
She was accompanied by her parents, Group Captain Susheel Kumar Parmar and Ritu Parmar.
