SHIMLA: Nishad Kumar from Una district has brought pride to the state by winning a silver medal in the high jump at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, congratulating the young athlete, said, “Nishad’s remarkable achievement is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport. His success will undoubtedly inspire the younger generation in Himachal to strive for excellence in their chosen fields.”
The CM also emphasized the state government's ongoing support for athletes to help them achieve national and international success.
