SHIMLA:  Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Industries Association (BBNIA) delegation, led by President Rajiv Aggarwal and General Secretary Y.S. Guleria, handed over a cheque of INR 2.02 crore to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the Aapda Rahat Kosh on Thursday evening.

Expressing gratitude, Chief Minister Sukhu acknowledged the noble gesture and emphasized the state government's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and attracting new investments to Himachal Pradesh.

He highlighted the government's focus on enhancing infrastructure in industrial areas, with particular emphasis on improving road connectivity and pursuing rail connectivity for the industrial belt in collaboration with the Union Government.

One notable infrastructure development is the upgrading of the Nalagarh-Bharatgarh road to a four-lane highway, aimed at facilitating industrialists and commuters.

The Chief Minister mentioned that several prominent business entities have expressed interest in investing in Himachal Pradesh, assuring them of the government's full logistical support.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Sukhu pledged to consider the genuine demands of the industrial community sympathetically.

The meeting also saw the presence of Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Director of Industries Rakesh Prajapati, OSD to Chief Minister Gopal Sharma, Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister Vivek Bhatia, and representatives from BBNIA.
