New Central Executive Formed for Choorheshwar Seva Samiti; BM Nanta Elected President
SHIMLA/SOLAN :Choorheshwar Seva Samiti has announced the formation of its new central executive committee following a advisory council meeting held under the chairmanship of the Chief Patron in Solan on Sunday.
The biggest challenge before seva Samiti is how to maintain sanctity and solitude of Choorhdhar, keeping it trash- and junk- free considering the swelling number of pilgrims making a beeline for the bastion of Dev Shirgul.
During the meeting, the advisory council took multiple important decisions, including the expansion of the council and the formation of the new central executive for the next three years.
Notably, Mr. Shivendra Chandel of Chopal, a respected advisory member, was relieved from the council as per his request and appointed as the Chief Coordinator of the new executive body.
The President, Mr. B.M. Nanta, who was reelected for the third time, Shimla, said, “The new team represents a blend of experience and youthful energy. Together, we aim to strengthen the spiritual and community services of the Chudeshwar Seva Samiti across regions.”
The new executive committee includes:
President: Mr. B.M. Nanta, Shimla
Senior Vice President: Mr. Pradeep Mamgain, Solan
General Secretary: Mr. Sunil Kamal, Bogdhar
Chief Coordinator: Mr. Shivendra Chandel, Chopal
Technical Advisor: Er. Joginder Chauhan, Solan
Treasurer: Mr. Chait Ram Sharma, Khaddar (Dhabas)
Organization Secretary: Mr. Ramesh Chauhan, Aanjbhoj
The five vice presidents appointed are:
Mr. Jati Ram Chauhan, Pulbahal
Mr. Sant Ram Chauhan, Vikasnagar
Mr. Pratap Negi, Chopal
Mr. Sunil Sharma, Dadahu
Mr. Bhanu Chauhan, Ghund

Three new members were also inducted into the advisory council:
1. Mr. Heera Singh from Vikasnagar, Uttarakhand
2. Mrs. Nirmal from Nahan
3. Mr. Anil Kuthiala from Pulbahal
The advisory council now comprises 18 members in addition to the Chief Patron.
The council also authorized the President to form sub-committees within the next 2-3 days for smoother functioning and expansion of the Samiti’s outreach.
Mr. Nanta extended warm congratulations to all newly appointed office-bearers, stating, “We are committed to upholding the values of Choorheshwar Mahadev and Shirgul Maharaj through dedicated service and unity.”
