Nirankari Mission’s ‘Project Amrit’ Inspires Water Conservation
Shimla February 23, 2025: With the blessings of Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji, the third phase of the global ‘Project Amrit: Clean Water, Clean Mind’ was held, promoting water conservation and cleanliness.
A grand spiritual congregation at Delhi’s Ground No. 8 marked the event.
Under the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF), volunteers cleaned water sources in Shimla, including Shiva Body in Tutikandi, Dengumata Temple in Sanjauli, and Rajhana in New Shimla. SNCF Secretary Joginder Sukheja highlighted youth participation and emphasized that the drive is a monthly initiative.
Inspired by Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj’s teachings, over 10 lakh volunteers participated at 1,650 locations across 27 states, combining environmental service with spiritual growth. Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji stressed water’s value, urging mindful usage and pollution prevention.
Recognizing its conservation efforts, SNCF received the ‘Water Conservation Initiative NGO of the Year 2025’ award from the Global Energy and Environment Foundation (GEEF), reaffirming its role in building a cleaner, healthier future.
