Sacred Dhvaj of Lord Rama unfurled a new chapter in India: PM Modi
Ayodhya, Nov 25:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the sacred kesariya dhvaj hoisted atop the Sri Ram Lalla temple marks the beginning of a new chapter in India’s spiritual and cultural journey.
Calling Lord Rama the soul, consciousness and pride of Bharatvarsh, the Prime Minister said it was his “supreme honour” to visit the divine and grand Sri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex around 10 am for darshan and pujan.
Later, at around 12 noon, he witnessed the historic moment of the ceremonial unfurling of the kesariya flag on the temple’s shikhar.
Modi said the sacred dhvaj symbolises the radiance, valour and ideals of Prabhu Shri Ram, while also representing India’s deep-rooted faith, spirituality and cultural heritage.
He added that the moment marks a powerful reaffirmation of India’s civilisational continuity.
The visit came on a day the Government of India highlighted the tremendous strides made in the dairy sector through a detailed PIB report released ahead of National Milk Day.
But in Ayodhya, all eyes remained fixed on the sacred ceremony that the Prime Minister described as a “sanskritik sankalp ka divya pramaan”.
“Jai Shri Ram,” he wrote, saying the historic unfurling strengthens the nation’s resolve to walk the path of dharma, service and unity.
