Big news for job-seeking youth in Himachal Pradesh — getting a job abroad is now easier, safer, and official. In a major breakthrough, the Ministry of External Affairs has granted a Recruitment Agent License (RAL) to the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC), officially making the state a government-authorized overseas recruiter.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced on Monday that this move will save aspiring workers from falling into the trap of private agents and paying hefty fees.
“Now, our youth don’t have to depend on private middlemen. The government itself will offer genuine and safe employment opportunities overseas,” he said.
With this license, HP becomes one of the few Indian states with a government body officially permitted to recruit Indian workers for foreign employers.
HPSEDC will ensure full compliance with international recruitment standards, giving job seekers not just employment but also security.
This initiative opens new doors for skilled and semi-skilled youth of Himachal Pradesh to land respectable jobs abroad — without being duped or overcharged.
