Shimla, March 9, 2025 – A century of excellence, discipline, and leadership—St. Edward’s School, Shimla, marked its 100th anniversary with grandeur, commemorating a legacy that has shaped generations.
The milestone event was graced by Supreme Court Justice Sanjay Karol, an esteemed alumnus, as the Chief Guest, alongside Bishop Ignatius Mascarenhas, who attended as the Guest of Honour.
The celebrations kicked off with the hoisting of the school flag, followed by a stirring rendition of the School Anthem, filling the air with pride and nostalgia.
A meticulously synchronized march-past saw students and distinguished alumni stepping in unison, reliving memories and celebrating the school’s spirit.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, the newly elected Student Cabinet took their oath under the guidance of Principal Rev. Fr. Anil Sequeira.

A centenary advertorial, celebrating the school's legacy, was also circulated across Himachal Pradesh.
In his address, Justice Sanjay Karol lauded the school’s enduring commitment to integrity and education.
As an alumnus who rose to the Supreme Court, he credited St. Edward’s for instilling the values that shaped his journey.
The celebrations concluded with a Holy Mass for Lent, offering a moment of reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal.
