Sharma, currently serving as General Manager in the Corporate Human Resources Department at SJVN, was chosen from a pool of eleven candidates after a rigorous interview process on May 24, 2024.
Sharma has been an integral part of SJVN since October 2009, contributing significantly in areas such as Manpower Planning, Administration, Industrial Relations & Welfare, HR Policy, Training & Development, and HR Procurement.
His strategic involvement with the Director (Personnel) and Chairman & Managing Director has highlighted his crucial role within the company's leadership.
Before joining SJVN, Sharma accumulated extensive experience at the Steel Authority of India Limited from 1996 to 2009.
Born on April 8, 1974, in Khargat village, Chamba District, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, an MBA in Human Resources from IGNOU.
