LEH: In a bold and selfless act, mountaineers from the High Altitude Warfare School (#HAWS) undertook a mission to recover the bodies of three fallen comrades.
These Havildar Instructors perished in an avalanche during a Mount Kun expedition in October 2023.
Determined not to abandon their brothers, HAWS initiated Operation RTG on June 18, 2024, meticulously planned and named after the missing soldiers—Rohit, Thakur, and Gautam.
