Expressing profound sympathy for the victims, Chief Minister Sukhu personally visited the families of the deceased and the injured, pledging unwavering government support.

He directed the district administration to mobilize all available resources to aid the affected families and promptly investigated the incident on-site.

"The state government stands firmly with the affected families during this tragic time, and we are committed to providing immediate relief and long-term support," stated Chief Minister Sukhu.

Taking a firm stance on accountability, Chief Minister Sukhu announced that each family of the deceased would receive Rs. 6.5 lakh in compensation. Additionally, immediate relief of Rs. 5,000 has been disbursed to the injured, with further financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 per person forthcoming.

The state government has already allocated Rs. 3.05 lakh in relief funds to assist affected families.

In response to the tragic incident  Chief Minister Sukhu emphasized the need for thorough investigation and vowed to enact necessary legal amendments to prevent future tragedies.

An FIR has been lodged, and Chief Minister Sukhu affirmed that stringent action would be taken against those found responsible.

Looking ahead, Chief Minister Sukhu proposed potential measures such as smart metering and underground electric cable installations in industrial zones to enhance safety standards and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

The tragic fire claimed the lives of five workers, with one body yet to be identified, and five persons still missing. Thirty-seven individuals sustained injuries, with thirteen already discharged from the hospital following treatment.
