Hp exam 2024

The examinations will encompass various categories, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service, Tehsildars/Naib-Tehsildars, Indian Forest Service (IFS)/Himachal Pradesh Forest Service (HPFS), and all other gazetted officers and eligible non-gazetted staff.

Additionally, inspectors from the Excise and Taxation Department and the Transport Department, as well as officers from the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education and the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd., will participate.

The examinations will take place at the Centre of Excellence, Government Degree College, Saruiauli, Shimla. To accommodate candidates appearing only in Paper No-1 (Financial Administration), exams will also be conducted at Government Degree College, Dharamshala, and Government (Girls) Senior Secondary School, Mandi.

However, the dates are tentative and subject to change based on circumstances.

Candidates intending to participate in the examinations must submit their applications online on the Manav Sampada Portal from April 1st to May 4th, 2024. Applications will only be accepted by the Board after verification and approval by their respective Heads of Departments, with the window for Heads of Departments remaining open until May 15th, 2024.

Detailed information on the online application process and examination dates can be accessed and downloaded from the HIPA website in Shimla.

Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary of HIPA, Shimla, emphasized the importance of adhering to the outlined procedures for a smooth examination process. The examinations will be held from July 1st to July 9th.
