Chandigarh: The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chandigarh, carried out multiple search operations in Chandigarh and Panchkula on recently under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, in connection with the ongoing probe against M/s Polo Hotels Ltd and others.
During the raids, officials recovered several incriminating documents, digital devices, and a bank balance of ₹82 lakh, which has been seized or frozen.
Sources indicate that the financial watchdog is investigating alleged money laundering linked to the company.
The ED is expected to summon key individuals associated with the case in the coming days as the probe intensifies.
