**Shimla, June 9, 2024** – Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu extended his congratulations to Narendra Modi on becoming Prime Minister.
Sukhu voiced his hope that PM Modi will fulfill the expectations of the nation and particularly address the needs of Himachal Pradesh.
Sukhu emphasized the importance of substantial financial backing from the central government for the state's development projects.
"Himachal Pradesh deserves robust support from the Centre," said CM Sukhu, noting that the state has shown its support for Modi by electing four MPs to the Lok Sabha.
He pointed out that key sectors in Himachal could greatly benefit from increased funding, which would boost the state's overall growth.
"The Centre has a moral responsibility to aid Himachal, and we look forward to enhanced cooperation to drive our development initiatives," Sukhu added.
