Innova (HP02A1540) driven by Rajesh Kumar r/o Garkhal, 23 yrs old. The accident took place around 9.20 AM today.
The victims have been identified as Guddu Yadav, Raja Verma, Nippu Nishad r/o ward No 7 West chaprran Bihar, Moti lal yadav r/o Thadimar Kushinagar UP, 36 years and Sunny r/o Kushinagar UP 29 years
Four people are injured who are under medical treatment at CH Dharampur, details are Mahesh r/o Ghazipur, Kushinagar UP,. Babudeen r/o Bihar, Mahesh r/o kushinagar UP, Arjun subhash rai r/o kuahinagar UP.
SP Solan Virendra Sharma said the driver and vehicle has been detained by police. Case has been registered and investigation is underway.

According Police, there were as many as nine laborers working on the Fourlane highway when the overspeeding Innova taxi went of control and hit the victims on the sideways.
While five of the victims dead on the spot, four others were injured badly and they were rushed to hospital where they were stable yet serious.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed his concern over the accident and mourned the death of five labourers and has prayed for recovery of those who were injured in the accident.
Overspeeding on the National Highway has become a major cause of concern, for the locals and labourers and pedestrians as there are no speed monitors to book the violators.
Solan Police have booked the taxi driver under MV Act and negligence in driving. More details are awaited.
