Rescue operation in Samej

 14th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) successfully rescued four villagers trapped in a riverbank nallah due to heavy rainfall in Samej, Kullu.

The rescue operation saved three females and one male, highlighting the relentless efforts of NDRF teams amidst the ongoing Himachal floods.

They recovered jewelry and other precious items from flood debris in Village Samej, Kullu, and handed them over to the civil administration.

14 BN NDRF team has constructed an artificial rope stand bridge in the Samej Nallah area to supply essentials and electricity to villages cut off by the floods.

The new bridge bypasses the damaged one, ensuring that critical supplies and services reach the disconnected communities.

These efforts by the NDRF are crucial in the ongoing flood relief operations in Kullu, reflecting their dedication to supporting and rebuilding flood-affected areas.
