Today in Shimla, a meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee was held to review the Himachal Pradesh Home Stay Rules, 2024.

The session, chaired by Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, focused on refining the draft rules aimed at boosting the state's tourism sector.

Committee members, including Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, and Town and Country Planning Minister Rajesh Dharmani, contributed valuable suggestions to the draft.

The Tourism department has been tasked with revising the draft rules based on the discussions and will present the updated version at the next Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting.

Director of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mansi Sahay Thakur, briefed the Committee on various issues related to the proposed rules.
