The 24x7 station will handle cybercrime complaints, especially financial frauds, via the toll-free number 1930.
It will enable real-time complaint registration and coordinate with banks to block defrauded amounts. The station, equipped with modern technology and trained operators, will act as a data hub for tracking cybercrime cases across the state.
Sukhu emphasized the government’s push to modernize the police force, improving efficiency, transparency, and public safety. Several senior officials, including Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh, were present.
