Expressing deep concern over the growing menace of Chitta smuggling across porous borders from Pakistan and Afghanistan, Agnihotri revealed that drones were being employed to facilitate the smuggling of deadly drugs into the country.

He addressed these pressing issues while responding to a question raised by MLA Hoshiar Singh and others.

Agnihotri disclosed that Himachal Pradesh Police had already received a total of 56 complaints related to fake cryptocurrency scam.

The authorities are determined to clamp down on these fraudulent activities and safeguard the interests of the people.

Furthermore, Deputy Chief Minister Agnihotri highlighted the state's significant financial gain from liquor vendor auctions this year.

Himachal Pradesh has witnessed a remarkable 40% increase in revenue from these auctions. The current government has amassed an impressive sum of Rs 1,850 Crore, with a substantial Rs 1,310 Crore already deposited into the state treasury.
