Shimla: SJVN launched its 37th Raising Day celebrations with a Swachhta-themed Mini Marathon in Shimla, promoting cleanliness awareness.
The event was flagged off by CMD Sh. Sushil Kumar Sharma, with senior officials and a delegation from the Ministry of Power in attendance.
Sh. Sushil Kumar Sharma congratulated participants, emphasizing SJVN's commitment to its core values and pursuit of excellence. He expressed optimism for continued growth and achievements as the company enters its 37th year.
The Mini Marathon featured eight categories for men, women, and children, ensuring broad participation from employees, families, and outsourced staff.
The route covered Chotta Shimla, Mall Road, and Chaura Maidan, ending at Hotel Peterhof. Fun games added to the festivities.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Sh. Sushil Kumar Sharma honored the Mini Marathon winners and 15 'Health Champions' selected under the SJVN Employee Wellness Scheme. This initiative underscores SJVN's commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle among its employees.
