The case was registered at the SV & ACB Police Station in Hamirpur based on the findings of Complaint #12/23 (Mandi).

Tampered OMR Sheets: The Crime Exposed

Superintendent of Police (SP) Kulbhushan Verma, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mandi  revealed details of the scam.

During the inquiry, it was discovered that the accused tampered with OMR sheets, making alterations and using fluid to manipulate answers, effectively engineering the results in their favor.

“This is a serious breach of trust that undermines the integrity of our examination system,” said police.

“Further investigations are ongoing, and we are leaving no stone unturned to bring the guilty to justice.”

Arrests Still in Limbo

Despite the gravity of the charges, SP Verma remained tight-lipped on whether any of the accused have been taken into custody.

This silence has raised eyebrows, as questions loom over the enforcement of accountability in such a blatant case of systemic corruption.

Widespread Outrage

The irregularities in the HPSSC exams have sparked outrage among aspirants, many of whom feel betrayed by the system meant to ensure fair and transparent recruitment.

“This isn’t just about the jobs. It’s about the future of honest candidates who are now losing faith in the process,” said a local activist.

What’s Next?

With further investigation underway, all eyes are on the vigilance bureau to ensure swift action and exemplary punishment for the accused.
