JP Nadda Targets Sukhu Govt in Chamba, Says “Centre Funds Flowing, But State Mismanaging”
SHIMLA /CHAMBA | BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda in Chamba accused the Congress-led Sukhu government of mismanagement, wasteful spending, and failing to utilize central funds meant for development.
Nadda didn’t mince words—he said while the Modi government has been pumping money into Himachal, the Sukhu government is busy playing blame games.
“More than ₹11,800 crore has been allocated for the state in 2025-26, ₹2,700 crore for railways, ₹13,285 crore in grants—but what’s the Congress govt doing?
Returning ₹25 crore meant for a medical device park in Baddi and sitting idle on ₹225 crore for the bulk drug park in Una,” he alleged.
He also took a dig at state spending on advertisements. “Crores spent on newspapers like National Herald which don’t even have readers in Himachal?
This is not promotion, it’s pure wastage of public money,” Nadda lashed out.
Accompanied by MP Harsh Mahajan Nadda presided over the meeting of vibrant District program in Chamba. He also visited bereaved family of Kishan Kapur a former MP who died recently.
The BJP chief's visit is being seen as a calculated strike ahead of upcoming political battles—an attempt to shift the narrative and remind voters who’s actually bringing in the funds.
