KEYLONG: As many 13 people were killed after the rockslide hit the vehicle they were traveling in on their way from Udaipur to Killar near Kadu nallah on the Tindi-Killar-Udaipur Highway in Lahaul-Spiti.
Rockslide was so massive fatal that smashed the vehicle badly and sandwiched them dead.

The body was Retrieved from the site in a grueling operation. The police have yet to identify the ill-fated travllers.
Lone survivor of the accident Vikar Singh said that he came out from Tata Sumo but the suddenly rockslide caved in on the parked vehicle right on the road and crushed it killing the remaining people sitting inside the vehicle. He survived the crash.
According residents there are no alert, no sign board on Rockslide, bad weather alert for travelers, exposing hollow claims of disasters management and its hollow mock drills.
