Shimla’s Dev Nagar Hit by Landslide, Several Vehicles Buried
SHIMLA: Continuous spells of rain triggered a landslide in Shimla’s Dev Nagar area on Saturday, leaving several vehicles buried under debris.
Rescue teams rushed to the spot and launched operations to clear the fallen trees and heavy muck. Officials said efforts are on to ascertain the extent of damage and remove the trapped vehicles.
No human life loss has been reported so far in Shimla city, though the administration has advised residents to remain cautious as intermittent rains continue in the region.
