Shimla, Aug 29 – Public sector power major SJVN has been conferred with the prestigious SCOPE Eminence Award in Human Resource Management.
The award was presented by President of India, Droupadi Murmu, to SJVN CMD Bhupender Gupta and Director (Personnel) Ajay Kumar Sharma at a ceremony in New Delhi on Friday.
Congratulating employees, Gupta said the recognition reflects SJVN’s progressive, people-centric HR policies and commitment to employee growth.
Sharma added that such honours motivate the organisation to stay on course towards becoming a transformational, future-ready enterprise.
Nearly 200 organisations competed across categories this year. The award acknowledges SJVN’s robust HR strategies covering employee engagement, leadership development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, along with wellness and benefit programmes that have boosted performance and satisfaction levels.
Formed in 1973, the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) is the apex body of public sector undertakings and honours excellence in management and governance through its Eminence Awards.
