SHIMLA: State Congress President and Mandi Congress Lok Sabha MP Pratibha Singh said the BJP government did not do anything for the last four and half years and the Chief Minister was making empty announcements after announcements as elections stunts these days to mislead people.
People are anguished over the BJP rule due to the misgovernance, rising unemployment and prices. People have made up their mind to oust the BJP from Power as BJP is a guest for few days in the state, she claimed.
After returning from her tour of Rampur, Anni and Kinnaur, Pratibha said her visit to these areas has got a huge response from people and there is an enthusiasm among them towards Congress.
"The huge crowd of women in the women empowerment sammelan in Rampur has made it clear that BJP is now a guest for a few days in the state", she said.
Pratibha Singh said that BJP is also apprehensive about its defeat in Shimla Municipal Corporation elections.
Pratibha Singh said that today she is going on a tour of Kangra.
After this she will go on tour of Hamirpur, Nahan and Solan, where she will attend the general meeting of District Congress Committees.
Pratibha Singh said that Congress is moving ahead with strength in the state. She said that Congress is going among people with issues while BJP is running away from issues.
