Desi Underdog Dons: Walked Into a Dhabha, Stole Cash, Fired a Gun, and Took the LED. But ...

Mandi: A nightlong   crime incident  in Sarkaghat, Mandi, has sent some chilling ripples  through Central Region!

On the night of March 21, around 11:40 PM, two young men walked into a roadside eatery, "Royal Pass Kitchen," under the pretense of ordering food.

But as soon as the food was packed, they swiped ₹5,000-6,000 from the cash counter.

When eatery owner Pradeep Guleria (61) confronted them, one of the men suddenly pulled out a pistol-like weapon and fired!

The bullet grazed Guleria’s left wrist and struck his left cheek. Without wasting time, the duo fled, but not before snatching the shop’s LED as well!

SIT Swings into Action, Arrests in 3 Days

Given the gravity of the crime, the police formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Deputy SP Bachan Mahimath.

Using CCTV footage and technical investigation, the police cracked the case within 72 hours, arresting both accused on March 24.

Arrested Suspects:

1. Mohammad Amil (25) – Resident of Kuraru, District Muzaffarnagar, UP

2. Amir (19) – Resident of Kuraru, District Muzaffarnagar, UP

Both had been working as aluminum fabrication laborers in Balh, Mandi, for some time.

These "Desi Underdog Dons" had the audacity to steal cash, fire a gun, and even take an LED on their way out!

But Himachal Police wasted no time in cracking down, ensuring they ended up behind bars in just 72 hours.
