BREAKING: Infiltration Bid Foiled in Baramulla Under Operation TIKKA; Two Terrorists Neutralised, Outrage Erupts Across J&K and Nation
Srinagar/Baramulla – In a sharp and swift response under Operation TIKKA, the Indian Army on high alert foiled yet another infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in the Baramulla sector.
Two terrorists were gunned down by security forces during the intense exchange, halting a fresh bid to create terror in the region revealed spokesperson of the Indian Army.
The encounter broke out late last night near one of the known infiltration routes, where terrorists from Pakistan-occupied launch pads were trying to sneak into Indian territory.
Troops deployed on the ground acted with surgical precision, eliminating both infiltrators before they could make any impact.
The operation is still underway, with combing and search operations continuing in the forested terrain.Update: OP TIKKA, Baramulla

Large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other war-like stores have been recovered from the terrorists, said Army spokesperson.
