HP High Court Names Justice Romesh Verma as Vacation Judge During Summer Break
SHIMLA, June 4 : The High Court of Himachal Pradesh has appointed Justice Romesh Verma as the Vacation Judge during the ensuing summer vacations from June 8 to June 12, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the High Court, Hon’ble the Chief Justice has nominated Justice Romesh Verma to hear urgent judicial matters during the vacation period.
The Vacation Court will sit on June 9 (Tuesday), when all judicial matters listed for hearing during the vacation will be taken up.
The notification was issued by the Registrar General of the High Court and circulated to the Supreme Court, Government of India, Himachal Pradesh Government, judicial officers, tribunals, bar associations, and other concerned authorities across the country.
The arrangement is aimed at ensuring that urgent legal matters continue to receive judicial attention even during the summer recess of the High Court.
