Shimla’s Aaryan Harnot Wins BIG Impact Award 2026, Emerges as Inspiration for Himachali Youth.
SHIMLA: In a proud moment for Himachal Pradesh, noted actor and filmmaker Aaryan Harnot was honoured with the prestigious ‘BIG Impact Award 2026’ for his remarkable contribution to acting and film direction.
The award was presented by Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta during a glittering ceremony held at Radisson Hotel Shimla on Sunday.
Instituted by BIG FM, the award recognises outstanding achievers from different walks of life. Senior officials of the radio network, prominent personalities and citizens attended the event.
Hailing from Shimla, Aaryan Harnot has carved a niche for himself in the entertainment industry through sheer hard work and talent, becoming a source of inspiration for aspiring actors from the hill state.
He has earned nationwide recognition for his performances in popular television serials such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Phulwa, Kaamna, Tum Dena Saath Mera, Parvarish, Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain and Saajan Ghar.
Apart from acting, Aaryan has also made a strong mark as a writer and director. His acclaimed short films Keel and Ram Bharose have received appreciation and awards at several national and international film festivals.
Receiving the honour, Aaryan said the award was dedicated to Himachal Pradesh and to everyone who supported his journey. He said it was a matter of immense pride to take stories rooted in Himachal’s soil to audiences across the country.
The recognition is being seen as a motivational milestone for young talent from Himachal Pradesh dreaming of making it big in the world of cinema and television.
