HPTDC Rolls Out Monsoon Bonanza: Up to 40% Discount on Room Tariffs from July 15 in its Hotels in Himachal.

Shimla, June 27: With the rainy season spelling a dip in tourist footfall, the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has announced hefty monsoon discounts — up to 40% off on room rents — across many of its hotels in the state from July 15 to September 12, 2025.

This seasonal bonanza aims to lure tourists and event organizers to choose HPTDC properties, especially in places that witness thin occupancy during monsoon.

The discounted tariffs apply to both general bookings and events like weddings, meetings, or local functions, offering a value-for-money deal during the otherwise lean season.

“Discounts ranging from 20% to 40% will be offered in select properties with low occupancy,” said Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Managing Director, HPTDC.

“This step is to ensure better utilization of our facilities and offer affordable stays to tourists exploring Himachal during the off-season.”

 Hotels Offering Discounts:

40% off at popular destinations like Palace Hotel Chail (Annexe), Golf Glade Naldehra, Hotel Manimahesh Dalhousie, Hotel Apple Blossom Fagu, and Hadimba Cottage Manali.

30% off at Hotel Club House McLeodganj, Hotel Peterhof Shimla, Hotel Jawalamukhi, Yatri Niwas Chamunda, and more.

20% off at Hotel Rohtang Manalsu Manali, Hotel Silvermoon Kullu, Hotel Uhl Jogindernagar and others.

No discount at major properties like Hotel Hamir Hamirpur, Hotel Suket Sundernagar, Hotel Chanshal Rohru, and several others.

However, no discount will apply during the Minjar Fair (July 27–Aug 3) at Hotel Iravati and Hotel Champak, Chamba. Similarly, Hotel Gaurikund Bharmour will have no rebate during the Manimahesh Yatra (Aug 11–Sept 1).

Discounts at Naggar Castle, Hotel Silvermoon Kullu, Rohtang Manalsu, and Hadimba Cottage will be valid only until their closure for renovation.

HPTDC has directed its hotel managers and marketing staff to actively promote the scheme and maximize tourist inflow during the rainy lull.

So, if you’re looking for a quiet Himachali getaway or planning an event in the hills without burning a hole in your pocket — now is the time to book!
