SRINAGAR/ NEW DELHI, May 10 – In a swift and coordinated retaliation to Pakistan’s failed drone misadventures over Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab on the nights of May 8 and 9, the Indian Army has launched a massive fire assault, reducing multiple terrorist launchpads near the Line of Control to rubble.
Confirming the operation, an Army spokesperson said, “In response to recent attempts to disrupt peace through drone strikes, the Indian Army carried out a precision fire assault on identified terrorist launchpads along the LoC.
These bases, long used for planning and launching attacks on Indian soil, have been successfully neutralized.”
The launchpads, which were instrumental in cross-border infiltration and attacks like the recent Pahalgam terror strike, have been “razed to cinders,” the official added, emphasizing that justice has been delivered with clinical precision.
Top defence sources said the operation was carried out in coordination with intelligence inputs, and further surveillance is underway to assess damage and prevent any regrouping.
The Ministry of Defence and top commands, including NorthernComdan and Whiteknights are monitoring the situation closely.
