Shimla: Drug abuse in Himachal Pradesh is spiraling out of control.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu revealed   in the Vidhan Sabha today, saying that a staggering 2,497 cases involving Chitta and other substances have been registered across the state in the last one and a half years. 

The numbers paint a grim picture—11 young lives have already been claimed by drug overdoses in this short span.

The Chief Minister didn’t hold back, further disclosing in the house today that 17 properties linked to the drug trade have been seized and handed over to the competent authority for action.

The figures highlight a growing menace that’s tightening its grip on the state, demanding urgent action before more lives are lost.

Chief Minister affirmed that state government has stepped anti drug campaign and would not spare those who destroying our youth.
