Sangita_art exhibition, Naggar near Manali

NAGGAR/MANALI: Art lovers and tourists are heading to the iconic Nagar Roerich Art Gallery for a transformative experience as the *"Mystical Inspiration"* exhibition opens from October 2 to October 4.

Curated by Art Director Sangita Mishra, this immersive series blurs the line between the tangible and the mystical, inviting viewers on a journey into deeper dimensions of existence.

*"Each painting acts as a portal,"* Sangita explains, encouraging visitors to explore the unseen and engage with the profound mysteries of life.

This transformative series of paintings blurs the line between the tangible and the mystical, drawing viewers into a world where the everyday seamlessly intertwines with the ethereal.

The series, composed of vivid colors, dynamic brushstrokes, and abstract forms, creates an immersive experience that encourages viewers to venture beyond the visible and engage with deeper dimensions of existence.

Sangita, who is the wife of the Bollywood  art and Film director Sumit Mishra, describes the series as a "journey into the unseen and the sublime."

Speaking about the powerful impact of the paintings, she explains, *"Each piece acts as a portal. It invites viewers to explore realms beyond ordinary perception and connect with deeper, more mystical dimensions of their consciousness."*

According to Sangita, the abstract shapes and surreal landscapes of the series create a unique visual language that speaks directly to the viewer's subconscious.

The interplay of light and shadow throughout the series further heightens the sense of mystery, suggesting hidden realms waiting to be discovered.

"We wanted to encourage people to look beyond the surface," says Sangita, "and to engage with the deeper meanings embedded within the artwork."

Drawing on a range of spiritual traditions, myths, and personal visions, *"Mystical Inspiration"* weaves together universal symbols and archetypes.

This blend of diverse influences creates a cohesive narrative that reflects both individual and shared mystical experiences. "The paintings in this series don't just stand alone," Sangita adds.

*"They are interconnected, much like the spiritual themes they explore. Each piece offers a new layer to the viewer’s own inner journey."*

The exhibition invites contemplation, offering a space where visitors can connect with their psyche and spirituality.

Sangita emphasizes the deeply personal aspect of the collection: "We want people to walk away with a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all things—an understanding that resonates with both the individual and the collective human experience."

In essence, *"Mystical Inspiration"* is more than just a series of paintings.

Director of Baragarh Taj  Spa and Resorts Nakul Khullar said the art exhibition by the renowned Bollywood art and film directors   has added a new dimension to the tourist experience in Kullu-Manali.

As Sangita concludes, "It’s an invitation to explore the profound mysteries of existence and to connect with the mystical and divine in ways that transcend the ordinary."
