New Delhi: Ending weeks of speculation, the Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Nitin Nabin (45), a four-time MLA from Bihar, as its National Working President, a post just short of the full-fledged party president currently held by Jagat Prakash Nadda.
He is considered as humble, hardworking with organizational skills and he has performed well as Minister in the Bihar government.
Currently the PWD and Urban Development Minister in the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government, Nabin represents Bankipur in Patna and is among the BJP’s most consistent urban faces in Bihar.
He rose through the party ranks via the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, serving as its Bihar president and national general secretary, gaining strong organisational grounding.
Son of late BJP leader and former MLA Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, Nitin Nabin has handled key ministerial portfolios in successive Bihar governments, especially infrastructure and urban governance.
His elevation signals the BJP’s push for generational change and stronger eastern India representation at the party’s national core.
