In a strategic move to counter the defection of three of its members to the BJP, the Indian National Congress has unveiled its lineup of candidates for the upcoming state assembly by-elections.

The trio, slated to contest against the dissenting rebels, brings a fresh wave of anticipation to these seats.

Congress is taking too long to declare its candidates while BJP took no time to field all the Congress Defectors as its candidates on the seats they represented while they were in Congress.

Leading the charge is Capt Ranjit Singh Rana, nominated to contest from Sujanpur constituency. He had contestedvas BJP candidate in last election and he has joined Congress to take his old rival Rajinder Rana.

Alongside him, Vivek Sharma will be vying for victory in Kutlahar, while Rakesh Kalia steps up to represent Gagret.

Kalia, ex BJP MLA deserted BJP and Joined the Congress soon after Chaitanya Sharma Joined BJP.

These candidates have been carefully selected to challenge the BJP's recruits head-on.

The stage is set for a showdown as Capt Ranjit Singh Rana prepares to take on Rajinder Rana in Sujanpur, while Vivek Sharma faces off against Devinder Kumar Bhutto  in Kutlehar.

Meanwhile, Rakesh Kalia gears up for a battle with Chaitanya Sharma in Gagret.

The announcement of these contenders came directly from the desk of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, underlining the party's commitment to reclaiming lost ground and asserting its dominance in the political arena.

All eyes are on the  candidates for the redt of three seats including Lahaul-Spiti, Badsar, and Dharamshala.
