MANDI: ndian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi welcomed His Excellency, Mr. Chang Jae-bok, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India, and his delegation for a two-day visit on April 23rd and 24th, 2024.

The visit aimed to bolster collaboration between Korea and IIT Mandi in research and innovation.

During the visit, Ambassador Chang and his team engaged in discussions with IIT Mandi's leadership, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties in various fields.

They also toured the institute's research facilities, showcasing its advanced capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and semiconductor devices.

Prof. Laxmidhar Behera, Director of IIT Mandi, highlighted the significance of establishing collaborative relationships with Korean universities and research organizations to promote joint research projects and student exchanges.

Ambassador Chang delivered a keynote address on the historical ties between India and Korea, emphasizing the potential for future partnerships. The visit marks a significant milestone in enhancing cooperation between Korea and IIT Mandi for mutual benefit.
