Shimla- Bye-elections are set for three Assembly constituencies in Himachal Pradesh, alongside similar elections in six other states.

Chief Electoral Officer Maneesh Garg announced that the constituencies of Dehra (Kangra District), Hamirpur (Hamirpur District), and Nalagarh (Solan District) will vote on July 10. 

These by-elections are part of a broader exercise covering 13 Assembly constituencies across Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab. Here are the key dates for Himachal Pradesh:

- **June 21**: Deadline for filing nominations

- **June 24**: Scrutiny of nominations

- **June 26**: Last day to withdraw candidacies

- **July 10**: Polling day

- **July 13**: Vote counting

The election process will wrap up by July 15. The Model Code of Conduct is now active, and all participants are encouraged to follow the rules to ensure fair and peaceful voting. Detailed guidelines will be issued as needed.
